The same-gender version of the OurRelationship® program is a LGBTQ+ affirming online relationship program. Many same-gender couples feel they are not represented in the relationship services available to them. Thus, we designed this version to provide couples like you with a program that is inclusive, affirming, accessible, and culturally-sensitive to the needs of members of the LGBTQ+ community.
In this program, you and your partner will work together on online activities to solve relationship issues you’re experiencing such as communication, intimacy, and trust concerns. The program will also help you consider how discrimination and lack of support from family / colleagues affect your relationship. You can complete these activities on your schedule using your phone, computer, or tablet. You’ll also have five 20‐minute calls with a program coach – calls can be scheduled during the day, evenings, or weekends.
The free program is funded by a grant from the US Administration for Children and Families and designed to support same gender couples.
If you qualify for the free program, you’ll have regular calls with a program coach – daytime, evening, and weekend times are available. We’ll also send you gift cards to Amazon, Walmart, or Target worth $150 per couple for completing the program and filling out online research surveys. For more information, click here.
If you or your partner do not want to be a part of the research study that is required for the free program, you can choose to pay for the program.
You have the option to join a fully self-guided version of the program for $50, or one that includes four sessions with a relationship coach for $199.

If you would prefer to do this program on your own, we offer a version that is specifically tailored for individuals.
Before you start the program, you and your partner will both fill out an online survey. It will have questions about you as an individual as well as about your relationship.
Once you’re registered, you can begin to explore the program(s) available to you. If you are signed up for the free program, or the paid program with a relationship coach, you’ll be able to schedule your first coaching session when you register.
As you go through the program, you will have lessons to complete on your own. After you’ve finished a section, you and your partner will come together to talk about what you’ve learned. If you’re working with your coach, you’ll have four more 20-minute calls (usually about one per week). The coach will help you apply the online content to your own relationship.
Our programs can deliver real results, but it won’t happen overnight. Generally, these programs take between 8-10 hours to complete over the course of 5-8 weeks. Throughout the program, we will teach you new ways to communicate and identify changes to strengthen your relationship as a couple. We are confident that your relationship will improve after you and your partner have completed our program.

Our research has shown that these programs are most effective when both partners work on their relationship together. This is one of the reasons that the grant-funded program requires couples to complete the program together.
