IBCT was created by OurRelationship co-founder Dr. Andrew Christensen and forms the foundation of all OurRelationship programs. This isn't just about teaching couples new behaviors. You'll learn how to help partners accept each other's differences and emotional vulnerabilities while creating genuine change. The training covers working with diverse couples, sexual problems, infidelity, and intimate partner violence. You'll understand how to use the DEEP analysis (Differences, Emotional Sensitivities, External Circumstances, Pattern of Interaction) to explain couple distress and guide treatment.
